Since 1979, numerous studies have found links between low levels of Zinc and eating disorders. Patrick Holford’s book ‘The Optimum Nutrition Bible’ says that there are remarkable similarities between the symptoms of Zinc deficiency and Anorexia Nervosa, and those with a poor appetite or tendency to lose weight often benefit from Zinc supplementation. However, where eating disorders are concerned, there are often psychological factors as well which need to be professionally treated.




Children who are fussy eaters may also benefit from taking appropriate doses of Zinc, as deficiency can make their food taste horrible.  Read More...
